Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Test Engineer to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Automation Quality Test Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to guarantee high-quality software. They work closely with development and QA teams, provide guidance to junior engineers, and address test failures. The role demands proficiency in automation tools, coding, and Agile methodologies. They ensure that automation efforts support project objectives and enhance testing effectiveness. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks.
• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot automation test failures.
• Mentor and guide junior automation testers.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure quality.

Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on automation testing.

• ISTQB Advanced Level or similar testing certifications.
• Automation tool-specific certifications (Selenium, Appium).
• Experience with web and mobile automation testing.
• Working experience in Agile or DevOps environments.

• Programming Languages: Proficient in Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
• Automation Tools: Expert in Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and Playwright.
• API Testing: Extensive experience with API testing, including REST and SoapUI.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiar with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Testing Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, and PyTest.
• Database Expertise: Skilled in SQL and MongoDB.
• Code Analysis and Debugging: Strong expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging code.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
